How it works

The e-ledger method treats emissions as liabilities on a balance sheet. What comes in is recorded, what goes out is transferred — so the carbon on a product is the sum of the real carbon behind it.

The ledger balance is allocated to the products you make, so each one carries its true share of carbon — not an industry average.
